Muon spin relaxation study of the spin transition compound [Fe(Phen)2(NCS)2]
Article Abstract:
Muon spin relaxation measurements over the temperature range (~10-280 K) were used to investigate the thermal spin transition, which occurred reversibly in [Fe(NCS)2] (polymorph I) around T1/2 ~ 177 K upon cooling and warming. The initial asymmetry parameter could be described in terms of contributions from slow and fast components with the initial asymmetry parameter of the fast component found to track the spin transition around the transition temperature T1/2 = 178(2)K.

Muon spin rotation and Mossbauer investigations of the spin transition in [Fe(ptz)(sub 6)](ClO4)(sub 2)
Article Abstract:
The spin transition occurring in the mononuclear iron(II) complex, [Fe(ptz)(sub 6)](CIO4)(sub 2), is characterized by superconducting quantum interference device and Mossbauer spectroscopy measurements. It is shown (super 57)Fe Mossbauer and muSR spectroscopy are two independent and complementary methods in revealing the dynamic nature of the HS state in [Fe(ptz)6][(CIO)4](sub 2).

Pressure effect on spin crossover in [Fe(phen)2(NCS)2] and [CrI2(depe)2]
Article Abstract:
The influence of hydrostatic pressure, up to 1.2 GPa, on the spin transition behavior in [Fe(phen)2(NCS)2] polymorph II and [CrI2(depe)2] is investigated. As both are mononuclear spin crossover (SCO) systems, they show similar (abrupt) spin transition properties at atmospheric pressure despite the differences in the chemical coordination sphere.
